I'd say the models themselves look late ps2 tbh fam, maybe early 360 days or so. But are models really super important to fighting game? If it runs at 60 fps it'll be gravy. Resolution and visual clarity are more important in this regard, not how pretty they are standing still.

2d is better looking for sure, but 2d is too hard for asians nowadays I guess.
