VPN Thread Anonymous 05/19/2016 (Thu) 15:38:54 [Preview] No. 93 [Reply]
These are the VPNs that Benjinkins recommended:
Reccomended VPN services—https://mullvad.net/en/ / https://cryptostorm.is/

Also, when looking for a VPN, look for one that doesn't keep logs, and also ones that accept other forms of payment like bitcoin or prepaid credit cards.

PIA is one of the most popular VPN service, and there's ups and downs to that. It means that you'll be sharing an IP address with thousands of other people. It also means you're probably already banned from 8/pol/ before you even post. Also, Netflix has blocked all VPN access.

Also, a VPN alone will probably not protect you from government spying. It will protect you from your ISP spying on you torrenting movies though.

If you have any other suggestions on VPN services, please post below.

I am pretty sure its more focused on image than on privacy but thats just my take I am sure it works fine until they have to pull out the logs. They seem like they log info but I am not gonna shill against pia nor suggest anything other than what is stated in the OP because those are what I also would reccomend.

Though Part of me wants to try out a vps I just think its too much of a hassel.

PIA

Payment is not so important because they can see your connection, it all comes down to their traffic and logging.

The most important issue is shared addresses, other users are your shield.

PIA claims they don't log. It's not required by law, so they don't do it.

They don't have a Warrant Canary though, that is a bit disturbing. Is there a VPN service that does have that?
