>Democrats will spend it on the poor, Republicans will spend it on the rich.
Thats not true at all. Both parties only enrich their own special interests who lobby them. The minuscule free gibs (paid for by US taxpayers I might add) are only to keep the poor masses from outright taking up arms and rebelling from starvation/fiscal woes. Both corrupt parties know how to keep the masses dependent and pacified.
>The Matrix had a coded message about the evils of capitalism.
The Matrix sucked as a movie and so do 98% of newer movies these days, often loaded with subliminal propaganda. The entertainment industry is nothing more than a tool today used by corrupt special interests to interject subversive political propaganda and corporate advertisements to keep the masses weak, confused, mindless consumers living in their own delusions of grandeur unaware how reality works and which way the world really turns. Like cattle, they are fattening up the masses for slaughter, giving you hints from time to time what they really have planned for you (take a look at some of the newer dystopian films). Expect no mercy on their behalf because they already sold us out long ago.
If you really want to rebel from this corrupt system, you have to re-think everything. Understand you just cannot trust this corrupted system you live in anymore. You have to learn to become self-sufficient as possible, embrace independence and hard work, cut the cable TV, tune out of the Matrix they have set up. Stop being a mindless consumer, and focus on what you really need to get by. Prepare for hard times. You have to learn how to survive without the help of many institutions, learn how to take care of yourself. And it is not easy doing that today, nor do they promote that kind of lifestyle anymore. I have been a prepper for over 20 years and I'm already half way off the grid, with solar panels and have some property where I can raise chickens, personal connections with nearby ranchers and farmers. It took me a long time to get where I am today and hard work but I am lucky to say I no longer rely too much on the current system (not nearly as much as I once did). I'm lucky we have wired internet out here to talk about it. Some small towns out here still do not from what I've heard.
