>Trump declares emergency for border wall, House panel launches probe

>With an emergency formally declared, Trump left Washington to travel to his Mar-a-Lago golf resort in Florida for a holiday break.

Other leaks show he spends 60% of everyday not working, and just watching News, tweeting or goofing around. You can't make this shit up.

Hillary is old news. The new news is Trump is surely the first president to declare himself as a national emergency.

So is it an emergency? Trump said, "I didn't need to do this," when talking about the national emergency.

The real problem is there's no ranked choice voting. I.e. democracy doesn't go far enough.

Trump in 2015:
"I was the first & only potential GOP candidate to state there will be no cuts to Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid."

Trump's proposed budget:
-Cuts Social Security by $25 billion
-Cuts Medicare by $845 billion
-Cuts Medicaid by nearly $1.5 trillion

Trump inherited a falling Empire and there is almost nothing he can do to prevent our demise. Problems did not begin with him, many problems began long ago, as early as the 70s when Nixon removed America from the gold standard and since then we have seen massive industrial outsourcing, increasing debt insolvency, crumbling infrastructure, endless wars, growing crime rates and poverty exploding.... this does not end well for anyone. And no matter WHO is leader, it will not change the damage already done to this nation.

The best (and likely only) thing we can do is prepare for a collapse of the old system and a global financial reset which will create a lot of chaos, political animosity and hardships in the future.

We are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic. Or at least we are supposed to be a Constitutional Republic as what our Founders intended.

I voted for Trump honestly thinking there was some glimmer of hope that we could curb the inevitable but I'll admit I was dead wrong. Hillary would have been worse, sure..... but Trump is not fixing anything either. No matter how much he complains. America needs to realize we screwed up BIG TIME with decades of horrific failed policies and this is not just one leader's fault, the blood is on the hands of many officials going back decades ago. God help us all, thats all I can say at this point.

Trump cares more about Israeli interests than the interests of America. This has been going on since Israel was founded with all 'our' leaders.

Yep, its insanity. Instead of cutting of all the foreign aid we supply to other nations, Trump rather cut benefits for Americans? Hypocritical to say the very least. He is NOT the same man I thought I was voting for.

unrelated but do you like or have you heard of this guy commiebro?

A lot of the stuff in that pic though I think is unrealistic. Legalzing marijuana at the federal level would be almost as hard as repealing the second amendment or some other major overhaul. The pharmaceutical companies have too much at stake in something like that. Psychological stuff alone, most workaday issues, could probably be solved by marijuana. Major production of marjiuana and refinement of hemp production could hurt the cereal and paper/logging industries even which is why it was made illegal in the first place. Bernie won't really be in a place to get money out of politics because if Bernie were elected he'll face just as much opposition from the legistlature no matter what side is in control.

Sure, but you need to elect people who are the left of what you want or else they will just compromise toward the neoliberal center and then you'll get no new regulations or changes whatsoever. That's why Biden who is anti-universal Medicare, and pro regime changes abroad is a no go. In fact when he was starting out there is even video of him saying he was ready to prostitute himself to the big donors, but they told him to come back when he was 40. He's way past 40 now!

Maybe people should lower their expectations, I have. I expect the same BULLSHIT as usual, no matter which side, a massive pile of dog shit & vomit spray painted red, white and blue, how fucking cute.
