>The good news about the 2017 schedule is that the Eagles will not play a single team coming off of a bye and will have their bye week later in the season in Week 10. The bad news is that they will be playing 10 games against teams that finished above .500, five of which made the playoffs, but that doesn't tell the whole story. Three of the teams the Eagles play in 2017 (Broncos, Cardinals and Panthers) are just 15 months removed from playing in conference championship games. We knew coming into 2017 that the Eagles would be playing the AFC West, a division that was arguably the best in 2016, but the unfortunate part of that is 2017 being the year the NFC East and NFC West play each other as well. Instead of just two West Coast games, the Eagles will be playing three of their games on the other side of the country.
