OP here, you guys are pulling my leg right?
I can't believe that any anons are willing to even try this, but I'm more than happy to tell of what I have learned throughout my 4+ years of being an herbivore.
Now, you can get everything you need to be as healthy and jacked as a gorilla inexpensively, while eating only plants, just like a gorilla does.
Rice and black beans for the 9 essential aminos aka "complete protein"
Black beans also have the following
Vitamin A 0% Vitamin C 0%
Calcium 29% Iron 88%
Vitamin D 0% Vitamin B-6 25%
Vitamin B-12 0% Magnesium 73%
Walnuts or flax for omega fatty acids (bonus protein, fiber, and vitamins/minerals), if you want to get picky about ALA vs EPA and DHA then go ahead and eat fish, but I say let my liver make EPA and DHA from ALA in nuts.
Spinach or broccoli (steaming or hummus makes these palatable for me)
Bananas are important to my morning, I eat 4 or 5, sometimes as a shake or sometimes just back to back as I get ready.
A great breakfast is flax or walnuts or nut butter, with bananas and spinach, blended in almond milk or split-pea milk. Add cheap frozen strawberries for to become topchef.
Precook lots of rice every week, that way you just have to open a can of beans and throw in some veggies for a complete meal, it takes mere minutes.
anyway, that is pretty much everything you need to survive... and I recommend organic veggies, but if you don't always spring for those then this diet is basically the cheapest.
OH AND DON'T DRINK SOY MILK!
drink almond milk if you are broke
drink split-pea milk or hemp milk if you are rich
