Alert!

Firefox was taken over entirely. I guess we need come up with our own browsers.
(note: Palemoon (based on Firefox) has implemented Facebook and Twitter ad scripts long ago)

oh shit nigger
this is browser registry, it doesn't even have to be saved locally and it can just regurgitate that information back to you
this is the bare minimum you need to even make an internet connection in the first place, how do you think how external servers know where to send requests back to
learn to internet and keep this blatant shittery off of infographics

midori actually is nice. it fucks up javascript on lots of pages but who cares it'll improve and you should be using noscript anyway.

brave is shitty buggy proprietary botnet and can't even handle password logins correctly for multiple sites.

This is placebo
Everything was subverted from day one, if you're browsing from home then who the fuck cares what browser, encryption, mask or whatever you use, you're having direct contact with your router and provider even if you use tor, vpn, tox or whatever since they all can trace you back.
The only way to stay hidden is to browse from places other than home, but you can get caught on security cameras and you need a completely fresh device with an open source OS and only open source software
Or browse from someone elses devices, that should work too
Personally me (and the same probably goes for almost anyone)? I really have nothing to hide since there's a folder on me already if they care about slacktivists. Now if I was told about info security before browsing the internet or at least getting into conspiracy theories that would be a different story, but now it doesn't really matter, it's too late.
I'm almost surely safe, but if I'm doomed then I'm doomed even if I start making pathetic attempts at staying hidden from now on, because that would be LARPing. In fact I'm staying away from all that stuff because I think I'm more secure this way, intelligence has a priority list for badthinkers and people who try to encrypt their data as much as possible are higher in their lists, using a normalfag browser with encryption ending on https is probably putting you on the irrelevant list as opposed to the best protection possible which puts you in a honeypot.

tl;dr: any attempts at staying hidden are pathetic and backfire since intelligence would be more interested in you.

George Soros is opposed by Benjamin Netanyahu, the Likud Party, and the Israeli Govt.

George Soros is okay by me.

That divide is not so real. They are still on the same side. It's just that right-wing zionists are based enough to oppose lefties when they try their bullshit in their precious ethno-state.

/tech/ heretic here
daily reminder that firefox and ALL FORKS are insecure. it's the biggest remaining vector for viruses.

the reason is simple: in 2006/2007 when windows vista came out microsoft added UAC, which allows restriction of what a program can modify on the system. UAC has a special "low privilege" mode for browsers, that acts almost like a sandbox, protecting your system.

FIREFOX IS THE ONLY BROWSER THAT HAS NEVER IMPLEMENTED THIS FEATURE.

if you're on loonix or mac or whatever, a system that was secured from the start it's fine but on windows it's a HUGE security risk. firefox is the only browser that still allows driveby malware on windows. if you use firefox on windows you need to use it with noscript or an AV.

How do I transfer my Firefox Passwords and bookmarks to another browser? Do I just use Firefox's export tool?

export bookmarks to html.
Passwords wil be saved if you uninstall firefox because if you run iceweasel or icecat or waterfox linux(that exists right?) all that shit is in your /.mozilla directory in the /home/ folder.
