This is placebo
Everything was subverted from day one, if you're browsing from home then who the fuck cares what browser, encryption, mask or whatever you use, you're having direct contact with your router and provider even if you use tor, vpn, tox or whatever since they all can trace you back.
The only way to stay hidden is to browse from places other than home, but you can get caught on security cameras and you need a completely fresh device with an open source OS and only open source software
Or browse from someone elses devices, that should work too
Personally me (and the same probably goes for almost anyone)? I really have nothing to hide since there's a folder on me already if they care about slacktivists. Now if I was told about info security before browsing the internet or at least getting into conspiracy theories that would be a different story, but now it doesn't really matter, it's too late.
I'm almost surely safe, but if I'm doomed then I'm doomed even if I start making pathetic attempts at staying hidden from now on, because that would be LARPing. In fact I'm staying away from all that stuff because I think I'm more secure this way, intelligence has a priority list for badthinkers and people who try to encrypt their data as much as possible are higher in their lists, using a normalfag browser with encryption ending on https is probably putting you on the irrelevant list as opposed to the best protection possible which puts you in a honeypot.
tl;dr: any attempts at staying hidden are pathetic and backfire since intelligence would be more interested in you.
