I need to make or get one or two banners for this board. If you're good at graphic design and have an idea, go ahead and post banners in this thread and I'll put them up if they're good.

Look. It is RAW >>> VPN >>> TOR not RAW >> TOR >>> VPN.

Please do not forget that. I am 99% sure there is no reason to boot tor without going through a VPN. Now you can do VPN >>> TOR >>> VPN2 >>> CGIPROXY >>> Etc.

But never Let your ISP know you are running TOR that is the primary purpose of a lot of VPN users.

I got the email. It does that because it rejects you if you try to rendevous in a country that I've banned in my exlude nodes in my torrc-defaults file. I have to comment that out, but it seems that the message got through. I'll decrypt this and see if it's the same message I read earlier.

I'm back at school, so activity from me will be slower than usual until I get settled in. I won't have time to post as many news articles, but my main sources of information are as follows:

Deep Dot Web
Soylent News

Feel free to post any relevent news articles you find into the news section. I'll post things here and there as I run across them. Thanks.

Useful to use before proxycheck.sh because it is much faster like seconds for a thousand proxies. But proxycheck.sh is still useful because it weeds out the proxies that give certificate errors in the google or youtube check.

Good catch. OK thats definite masonic lingo there. Not sure about the logo, it looks like the doppler effect. Just because the website has masonic references doesn't mean that the software doesn't work. I haven't tried it personally, but I liked the advertised anti-systemd approach. I think a disclaimer is in order, rather than a removal of the link. What are your thoughts?

Anonymous 06/22/2017 (Thu) 19:04:55 [Preview] No. 944 del
It already is a disclaimer of sorts but I am pleased you added it to the post where it was linked. (completely not neccisary) I actually trust this more because they are more forthcoming to the vidion of the project. You look at CISCO's logo it is not only the golden gate bridge it is the markings like you see on a ruler. Why is CISCO using ruler indentations as its logo? You look at GNU its baal. Heads tells you they are insiders in the first sentence. This could prove to make it not compromised as it could be using the reputation of this proffesional mens club to vet itself. Or it could mean there is a backdoor of some kind. An eye in the iso. I would check it out but not immediatly choose this os as something to use in a time of elites ruthlessly vying for power.

There's nothing "Masonic" or suspicious about any of that.

"Fellow traveler" means a sympathizer with a political movement. It usually refers to Communism. The dyne.org people are a bunch of lefties, so that's not surprising. Regardless of their political beliefs, they've been putting out free software and Linux stuff for a long time, and I've never had any reason to be suspicious of them.

Follow the white rabbit is a reference to the first Matrix film.

The logo is a tunnel. Because internet traffic in heads is tunneled through Tor.

It's meds time, boys.

Anonymous 09/04/2017 (Mon) 19:58:42 [Preview] No. 1013 del
fellow traveler is absolutely a masonic phrase. People will say traveler. They will ask "are you a traveler?" or "are you a fellow traveler?" or "are you a traveling man?"
>The logo is a tunnel.
that alone is fine but with the rabbit signaling it looks like a maglev tunnel.

May be coincidential. I think otherwise because there is a disproportionate amount of this kind of symbolism in tech.

Anonymous 09/08/2017 (Fri) 11:50:44 [Preview] No. 1018 del
"fellow traveler" is hippie lingo ca 70s, masons absolutely don't have a claim on that.

Anonymous 09/27/2017 (Wed) 03:03:12 [Preview] No. 1036 del
Are you going to remove the idiotic claim in >>894 that the heads website contains "Masonic references"?

The term fellow traveller (also fellow traveler) identifies a person who is intellectually sympathetic to the ideology of a political organization, and who co-operates in the organization's politics, without being a formal member of that organization.[1] In the early history of the Soviet Union (1922–91), the Bolshevik revolutionary Trotsky coined the term poputchik ('one who travels the same path') to identify the vacillating intellectual supporters of the Bolshevik régime. Likewise for the political characterisation of the Russian intelligentsiya (writers, academics, and artists) who were philosophically sympathetic to the political, social, and economic goals of the Russian Revolution of 1917, but who chose to not join the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). Moreover, during the Stalinist régime, the usage of the term poputchik (fellow traveller) disappeared from political discourse in the Soviet Union, but the Western world adopted the term fellow traveller to identify people who sympathised with the Soviets and with Communism.[2] In U.S. politics, during the 1940s and the 1950s, the term fellow traveler (U.S. spelling) was a pejorative term for a person who was philosophically sympathetic to Communism, yet was not a formal, "card-carrying member" of the American Communist Party. In political discourse, the term fellow traveler was applied to intellectuals, academics, and politicians who lent their names and prestige to Communist front organizations. In European politics, the equivalent terms for fellow traveller are: Compagnon de route, sympathisant, and progressiste in France; Weggenosse and Sympathisant in Germany; and compagno di viaggio in Italy.

Meaning Someone sympathetic toward a certain point of view without being a fully paid-up member of the club. Origin In its literal meaning 'fellow traveller' just means someone who travels with you. It was first applied to non-communists who were inclined toward the views of the Communist Party by Leon Trotsky. He used the Russian word popútchik to indicate that. The term fellow traveller in this sense came rather later, in the New York publication Nation, 1936: "The new phenomenon is the fellow-traveler. The term has a Russian background and means someone who does not accept all your aims but has enough in common with you to accompany you in a comradely fashion part of the way. In this campaign both Mr. Landon and Mr. Roosevelt have acquired fellow-travelers."

"It was during that period that I became interested in freemasonry. ... In the eighteenth century freemasonry became expressive of a militant policy of enlightenment, as in the case of the Illuminati, who were the forerunners of the revolution; on its left it culminated in the Carbonari. Freemasons counted among their members both Louis XVI and the Dr. Guillotin who invented the guillotine. In southern Germany freemasonry assumed an openly revolutionary character, whereas at the court of Catherine the Great it was a masquerade reflecting the aristocratic and bureaucratic hierarchy. A freemason Novikov was exiled to Siberia by a freemason Empress. I discontinued my work on freemasonry to take up the study of Marxian economics. The work on freemasonry acted as a sort of test for these hypotheses. I think this influenced the whole course of my intellectual development." The founder of the Red Army, Freemason Leon Trotsky. Leon Trotsky My Life: The Rise and Fall of a Dictator .

The international world communist organization is a hierarchical para-masonic order. I'll change the phrase from masonic to communist. However strong links between masonry and communism exist from what I've read on the internet.

I can't thank you enough for making these scripts and guides. I use the tor mods for 6 hops I use a lot of this shit. Even the original thread on /tech/ where you started gaining momentum there where things like port knocking and a lot of basic things that are hard to know what to do in the first place. I apologize for trying to shoehorn a meme as the logo to your project which really has been beneficial to being able to navigate and get my feet wet in basic computer security. I used to be afraid of even starting to tinker with this stuff because it felt overwhelming. I like the approach of direct steps to reclaim freedoms and these scripts and tutorials are not given enough credit.

Beyond that I believe that a lot of people if they knew how to do these things like using linux and sylometry we would have a lot more people who would feel comfortable in saying what they might not feel comfortable saying on their blinking smart tablets. If people who are strangled in a corrupt lifestyle in a corrupt world. People who are not allowed to expose wrongdoings because they feel surrounded by rainbow google G logos. If knew they could take a few steps away from the botnet they might feel comfortable saying what they need to say that they are not allowed to anymore because of the politics and the media. They can tell their truths. Maybe then people would call out the nonsense that they let get to the point homosexuality is some kind of gimmick thing and not the sign of a savage who vampiracally assumes the position of a female. Maybe then we would not have to defend having privacy and anonymity because the people raising the question of why we need anonymity SHOULD BE THE ONES WHO NEED TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AS TO WHY THEY WANT TO STRIP THE ABILITY TO SAY THINGS NOT DIRECTLY ACCESSIBLE TO THEIR PERSONAGES. THEY ARE TRYING TO SHUT EVERYONE UP SO THAT WE HAVE TO LISTEN TO CNN. SO THAT WE HAVE TO JOIN AN ALT RIGHT LITTLE FREE SPEECH ZONE FOR THE FAKE REBELLIOUSNESS THE MEDIA ASCRIBES TO IT. Water down political incorectness to be called a bad boy by stephen colbert. Thats where we are at and using this technology the right way can amplify original opinions.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to have to make a more robust proxy collecting script, right now that one website is a single point of failure. I just have too much going on right now to get right on it.

When I have some more solid good ideas I'll post them. I'm hoping that more people start posting step by step guides for improving anonymity, privacy and security for computing, or post links to good guides and how to tutorials on these topics, including tools, settings, methods, etc. If you see a good online "how to" guide on security. anonymity, or computer privacy start a thread and post the links or info. We'll converge on the right answer faster that way.

We are going to beat these surveillance bastards eventually. But right now we're against the ropes. I can see that clearly, based on what I know, and what I've personally experienced. Anyways hang in there we're going to beat these assholes and win our freedom of expression, freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom to learn information, freedom to explore the internet unmolested, freedom to create content and use our computers in our own residences privately without being spied on, etc. back. But it's going to be a long road, and we're going to have to go low key and old school, and for now we'll have to live with less bells and whistles.

Anyways thanks for the feedback. I'm glad that I could help out in whatever small way I could, and hopefully whoever comes after me, and takes up the mantle, does it better.

Why do you do it? Considering you have "school," a life to live, why would you sacrifice your resources for all of this?

Self defense primarily.

1)My hope was to get some help with internet security by starting a thread asking for contributions of techniques and ideas. So far that's worked out pretty well. that ipsets thing has solved a major problem my server was running into. I'm glad I got that tip from here. Thanks >>1652 good work!
2) I think every newb should run this as standard fair. Every new linux user should run this endwall. I don't care what >>1652 is implying. This script stands between me and the ridiculous daily hack attempts against my tiny little mail server / website. I run this script on all my laptops (modified) all my network machines in my house, and I want everyone in the world to use this or the ideas in it as the defacto standard starting point. I think my script works. I think this script endwall.sh should be run after install on any/every linux machine period.
3) I found several problems in my personal version of this script while reading and fixing endwall.sh so that was worth the exercise in its self.
