There has been speculation that Assange was killed a couple years ago after wikileaks tweeted a 'dead man' hash during an attempted raid against the Embassy (this was in 2016 during the US presidential election campaigns).

I have no idea if Assange was actually killed though because no solid evidence came out after that incident. Still, it looks like Assange has been active, but who knows if thats really him? The whole thing is up-in-the-air speculation.

Many seem to be convinced after the recent tweet of him in the Ecuadorian shirt and the issued passport that was revealed he has fled.

Again, this is what is being reported all over the place, yet we don't know for sure what is true (at least yet). Regardless of Assange working for the DoD in the early 90s, I think he had good intentions when he started wikileaks, he desired to expose what was really going on behind the scenes. I just hope, in this case, he's alright and remains safe if it happens to be true.
