Might be banana flavoured. Did you drink it finally?

What other weird tea flavors are out there? It wasn't an added flavor but I drank a tea that tasted like smoked food, like smoked cheese or salmon.

These are some that I've tried. They're not bad

I have a box of 'zingy citrus' which has an oily bitter aftertaste, like the peel of oranges or the seed has. Bleh.

Maybe the expiration date had exceeded it's time too far.

Nah that was fine.
I fix the taste with a thin slice of butter.

A co worker brought some of this in to work. I tried it and was pleasantly surprised.
If you have the opportunity, you could try it.

Now I'm drinking pepper mint/lemon balm tea. I still made it last year's dried herbs despite the fresh is growing now nicely. Soon I'll pick some.

Oh, I totally forgot about still having some packets of that kind. 'African Dawn' brand, not sure about the quality. Interesting taste.

I fell for the loose leaf meme and buy my shit at a specific tea shop mostly. I should probably ask what estate it's from.
Good drink for the evening. With some lemon it makes good iced tea too.

Made a jug of rooibos. I almost forgot the taste.
I like tea in the evening. It's calming. The process actually I believe and not really the tea itself.
I wish I have a samovar.

Just drinking something warm is calming.

Though green tea does have psychoactive properties. Something that is lost in other tea varieties because the substance, L-theanine, is easily oxidised, so any varieties that are fermented (black tea) or even just sun-dried (white tea) don't contain that. The high is calming but it also increases mental concentration. Kind of gets you into a zen mood. But most of the stuff you can buy is not really potent enough and you'd have to brew shitloads of it.

>green tea does have psychoactive

Really? Sometimes I drink it every day but don't feel anything psychoactive at all.
