I never ever Windows 10 but now a friend of mine asked me to check a laptop of his coworker as "it keeps restarting". Prescription from the guy said I should install a new Win 10 on it. I said I'll check it out. I thought it's faulty RAM or something.
Here's the laptop, and it just gave a notice about a changed hardware setting with a recommendation of restarting on every startup. No actual restart, click OK and it's usable. So it's driver and I figured it's the graphics as it's AMD. I updated the driver meanwhile the Windows had his Windows update.
After a restart I restarted it again, and the problem went away. I let the machine sit for a while turned on (I did my evening routine meanwhile) then I tried shutdown or restart I don't remember (I planned to check it again). But this piece of crap just loads something: blue background, circle goes around and around with a text: "Preparing Windows - Do not turn the machine off".
This goes for at least 20 minutes now. What the fuck?
