The story is very
linear, but it's done in a way where it doesn't make the game
linear, and you can return to the open world at any time. The story is actually fairly brief, though it takes an incredibly dark turn that belies the happy-go-lucky feeling you're gonna get for 90% of the time you play through.
It's similar to "Skyrim," though only slightly, in that there is a main quest line, and you can either rush through it or go at your own pace, but the majority of the time you play this game will be spent in the open world doing quests, hunts, and so and and so forth.
When you beat the game, you unlock a literal flying car that is pretty badass.
The graphics are amazing for a console game (usually console games have shit graphics), and the post-game is very strong here.
After you beat the game, there are dungeons and bosses that make up the real "challenge" you're going to find. Far harder and more difficult than anything you'd have encountered up to that point.
