It really depend on the person and education, but most of the time, yeah, boys tend to be more aggressive.
Like, in my school there was a girl that was way more aggressive than any other kid, and she grew up to be a bully, while some guys where just nice.
Growing up, some girls get really nasty, with a "I'm better than you" attitude, even if this is rare.
Women DO get emotional and irrational sometimes, but it's mostly because their hormones change tackle them with the power of a freight train, really. Work also for some men, though.
And about the boss thing, I've been under several women, and... Yeah, they tend to be petty. Or really annoyed because female coworkers go bitch to them about stupid stuff (like in the middle of a meeting a woman start talking about how the boss never go and praise them when they do their job. The only thing the boss said was "you're not even that good at what you do.", which was answered by a surprised expression and a "so?".)
Hmph, I had one really great woman as a boss a while ago, when she start to be aggressive for no reason she just stop, take a deep breath and tell us she's" sorry about that, it's THAT time of the month." and resume in a more professional way. Everyone kinda kept track of when it happens to avoid her when "IT" come. She was pretty grateful.
