I suppose I can see your point. While the Constitution is still - in my eyes - a dogmatic, slave paper, it's not as if the rest of this country is free from slavery anyway; it's the best form of slavery this planet has until the next ideological revolution comes to provide a better world.

I don't trust any Supreme Court to prioritise the nation over themselves; being in the Supreme Court would make you feel beyond the responsibilities of those in the Supreme Court.

Left vs Right politics is used to make people feel like they have the ability to change. I understand where you're coming from when you talk about your theory of balancing out, I usually saw it as a pendulum though; same concept nevertheless.
