Basically anything that is high-quality, with top-tier visuals, music, story or a mix. Miyazaki films for example, or classics like Akira would be considered kinome, but really anything that's stands out from the crowd.

If a free, alive imageboard exists somewhere on this internet I'd like a link.

4chan is only physically alive, akin to a zombie.

Is a fetus alive?

nttpchan is more free than /AM/ has ever been and has never been more alive than it is now, but it has never really been strongly alive yet in the first place.
It's more alive than AM is now, though.

Moe shitters like you purchasing crap for garbage like Kemono friends, and buying merchandising for said garbage is what's making animators starve. If anime was funded by people admiring animation and not the "moe" feelings and other faggotry it invokes to the involuntarily celibate, artists wouldn't be starving. Merchandising is cancer, and so is that guy's taste in anime.

>it's because of all that buying you do that keeps the creator of the product so poor

Well, I think it was because those CAPITALIST PIG production committees keep all that money to themselves and their networks instead of studios.

No, those faggots wouldn't be expoiting animators in the firstplace if you didn't purchase merchandise and just purchased box sets. But since idiots like you keep on buying dakis, waifu sims, and shitty PVC figures you can hotglue all of the production values goes towards that garbage instead.

It's not the business model that's a problem, it's the anime community's intense faggotry that's the problem. Want anime to survive? Stop purchasing shitty merch and start buying dvd/bluray box sets instead.

Don't expect

INTENSE ACTION SCENES

AWE INSPIRING ROMANCE

CUTE CHARACTERS DOING CUTE THINGS

NON-PREDICTABLE PLOT

Expect

Pretentious political essays, allegories and metaphors, all done competently, but still pretentious due to the nature of the show

Awesome Victorian and Napolitan tactics BUT IN SPACE

Manly TEARS

Bitches and hoes being bitches and hoes

Slight homo eroticism if you watch the OVAs

Competent animation with SOMETIMES IMPRESSIVE choreography, and I really do emphasize SOMETIMES

QUALITY animation both in the good and bad sense. Character's proportions just don't stay the same due to all the animators animating stuff at any one time.

I don't know if you've ever seen the American television show The Wire but it's very much comparable to that in general story-telling. There's a huge cast and the plot if just a snapshot of a much bigger story and historical conflict.

What I really liked about it was that it creates a lot of interesting characters and they end up interacting to push the plot forward so sometimes very minor characters can set off chain reactions or have significant importance to the plot.

There's some filler or fillerish episodes early on but it's not bad in and of itself just not always immediately relevant to the overall plot of the show.

Both are rare examples of an interweaving narrative showcasing societal issues on a variety of scales tbqh. Real talk fam do you just limit yourself to anime or is it the only thing you have interest in? Not being critical as I'm well aware that western television is largely a barren wasteland where melodramas are lauded as being superbly well acted and well written but to be so dismissive of something, particularly a relatively older series based upon nothing but it's country of origin just seems to be an overly jaded viewpoint.
